Lately I have come across many who thought girls growing up in the West do not know how to cook, clean, shop food or do normal daily life duties.
I have been told several times that when people see me they wont think I even know how to open a bottle of milk, and that I probably have someone doing all these things for me, I wish!!!!
But let me tell the world, girls growing up in the west do know how to cook,clean,iron,scrub,invite friends over, etc. I have to say I was amazed when I went to iran and saw that the girls were not working as much as my parents had told me they do (I guess they were thinking of iran as if it was 20 years ago).
So lately I am shocking and surprising many in showing them that, you know what I know how to cook. I might not want to cook 'gormesabzi' or 'fesenjoon' (iranian dish), but that doesnt mean I am not a good cook!

As a matter of fact, majority (not all) of young girls inside Iran don't know damn about any type of work. They're under support of BANK OF DADDY.

hi elham jan, i totally agree with you, i know how to cook and to be honest with you i am a good cook but i don't like kitchen environment and spending time ( 2 or 3 hours)a day cooking. so i cook ( iranian dish ) whenever i feel like it.
shima jan,I dont think there is any need to spend time to cook for 2/3 hours aday, we have better things to do in life than cooking.life is more than eating...
